Autism Language Learning Series 2: Yes/No Questions

Published March 1, 2013 10:26 AM by Jeremy Legaspi

Autism Language Learning: Series II Yes/No Questions is the second app in a series of app designed to improve language development of children with autism. I looked at their last app in my previous post. This app is designed to work on the skill of answering yes/no questions and it does that through pictures and videos. The app also provides auditory and visual prompting to aide in answering the questions correctly as well as the ability to record your answers. The visual prompting is provided through the Yes or No lighting up.

Yes/No questions are asked about the following categories: Common Objects, Actions, and Common Facts. This app provides the ability for data tracking however doesn't provide the "add your own module" feature that Series I provided.

I think it would be useful to have the ability to add your own videos and pictures so you can create yes/no questions about them. This would be helpful with video modeling behavior and then asking yes/no questions about it.

Here is a video demo of the app: Series II Yes/No Questions

Autism Language Learning: Series II Yes/No Questions is $15.99 in the App store

Forgot to mention that you have this tagged wrong. It is not an articulation app. Should be under language disorders though :)

I love this app! The kids enjoy the video and they love the reward pictures with the clapping sound. Totally teaches yes/no questions! Would definitely purchase again!
