About Joyce Ward
Joyce Ward, CNMT, RT(N), is a former technologist-turned-writer with more than 20 years’ experience practicing and writing about nuclear medicine. Joyce, who presented numerous scientific research papers and posters at SNM annual meetings as a technologist, began writing a column on nuclear medicine for ADVANCE in 1990 and joined the magazine staff as an editor covering nuclear medicine and other modalities in 1997.
