Laugh Out Loud
I try to find humor and amusement where I can while I'm at work. People say the most ridiculous things and I just can't help but to laugh to myself. I feel compelled to share some of this with you in the hopes that you'll get a good laugh too.
Abdomen/Pelvis CT: "Do I have to look into the light?"
Not even sure what light the patient was even talking about.
This was a true laugh out loud for me.
Abdomen/Pelvis CT: "Do I have to keep my mouth open?"
Father asking about his daughter's head CT: "Can this machine tell how my daughter got hurt?"
Head CT: "Can I breath during the test?"
I always cut people some slack when they say outrageous things because I know they are sick and often unfamiliar with the process of having a CT...but this doesn't mean I can't get some much needed comic relief in the meantime.
