I had another great week on my new schedule
. I am sure getting used to not being so tired all of the time. Ten-hour shifts seem to work out nicely for me, and I'm grateful to have three full days off each week.
One of my favorite co-workers went out on maternity leave last week. I will miss her greatly. She taught me a lot and we truly bonded. She was the glue that held the ER CT together on day shift so I'm curious to see what happens in her absence. I was not expecting to get along with her as well as I did and I just love when life throws you a curve ball to keep you on your toes. It's always the things we don't anticipate, whether good or bad, that make life interesting and offer the opportunity for personal growth.
