The Snoring Contest

Published April 15, 2010 10:39 AM by Amy Reavis
There are so many different types of snores and so many different volumes. The snore doesn't always match the person, and they don't always come from the patients we most expect to snore. It's all so random and really can make us smile at night. I'm not saying that snoring as a condition is funny, more that the actual snore could be interesting to hear.

Sometimes, the technicians compete when discussing the patients' snores: Who had the strangest snore? Who had the loudest one? I can't believe that snore came from that patient! Then, there's the occasional mimicking of the snore.

What does that say about us? I think it proves we love our job. We talk about situations, patients, and what we do. We bring it into our daily lives. And as a result, we help provide the best care possible.
