    Re: Overseas

I am ASCP and I tried to get my credentials transfered so I could work in Great Britain while my wife attended school there. The government made it vertually impossible by requiring that I essentially go back to school to get their degree. Even then, to be hired the hospital or lab would have  to prove to the government that they had advertised the open position in a professional trade journal for six months and no one who is a citizen of Great Britain had applied for the position. Only then could the position be offered. In other words, it was impossible.
