Has anyone heard about this program?  I've been searching the internet for reveiews, but haven't found anything.  All in all, it almost seems too good to be true. . . a program that I can do online and still have clinicals AND get my ARDMS when I graduate.  If you know anything, please let me know, as I am eager to enroll in a program!  Thanks!

I was looking at the SDMS website and I found myself interested in that program. I called them and there is no guarentee that the clinical sites you want will accept you, alot of these hospitals and facilities already have contracts with programs to take on students.  When I called the school they told me once I'm accepted I will submit the site I would like to go to that are close to home and they will take it from there. That doesn't reassure me that once I make a committment to the program that I will have a site that's close enough to my home to reasonably attend. Good luck just make sure you read the fine print and do alot of homeowrk before you sign up. The good thing is that that program is accredited.

Just wanted to comment that I got accepted into the MSU DMS program.  I am currently having a decent experience with my classes.  I will begin my clinicals in July however.  I am hoping to do my clinicals at a local hospital (there's not an ultrasound school for 75+ miles so I'm hoping the hospital will sign me on ). We do have a university RN program and alot of those to-be-nurses are there but that's all I know of around here.

My advice would be to not waste your money. Find yourself a local hospital or college based program where you'll actually learn something.
