I am a PT independent contractor in home health care. One of the companies I contract with provides Therapy services to Home health agencies. This year they want to  have me, the PT, do the initial eval, and then turn the patients over to PTAs to cover.My question or concern is with re: to liability if something should go wrong during the PTAs  course of treatment.Once I release the patient to the PTA,with who and how is the liabilty shared or not shared among myself, the company that contracts with the PTA, and the PTA himself?
