We're in the process of implementing Computerized Physician Order Entry (CPOE) and have run into issues with ordering Type & Screens.

Nurses used to call the Lab to see if a type & screen was required.

Some physicians are ordering the type & screen all the time, others aren't ordering it at all.

I'm interested in talking to someone that's encountered this issue and has found a solution.

I've got 4 more hospitals to bring live and I know the problem is going to get worse!
