    Many elderly adults that I work with used to knit/crochet as their hobby and many of them miss this leisure activity. Does anyone know of a good substitute that is simple and repetitive, so that it can be used with individuals with dementia.

    We have ladies that enjoy rolling yarn into a ball...it's a great functional activity that they really enjoy : )  It's simple, repetitive, they need minimal cueing and success with the activity is easily achieved.
