Has anyone been involved in recommending and installing a wheelchair arm trough on a student's personal wheelchair for school use? I have 2 students with M.D. that are now at the stage that they are losing so much proximal function that the are having difficulties eating and writing/typing. I have found one that attaches to the desk but it is strictly for typing and will not give the lift for eating. Do you usually recommend that the school have a wheelchair company attach it? I really need help soon since I am going to meet with administration in the next couple of weeks. Thanks!
