Overall registration for the event is currently 17 percent ahead of last year, HIMSS reported.

The conference will take place Feb. 25-28 at the Orange County Convention Center.

HIMSS also said people plan to stay longer at the conference this year: Hotel stays are up by nearly 20 percent and Wednesday night (Feb. 27) reservations are 16 percent higher than in 2007.

Are you planning to spend more time at HIMSS this year than in recent years?
