I am an RN, working in an “assisted living” facility with elderly dementia patients.This facility is promoted as a non-skilled nursing facility, yet my boss says that it is okay for RN's & LPN's to draw blood samples for lab work and change colostomy appliances. What duties constitute skilled nursing duties vs. non-skilled nursing duties?
