Hello,
I am about to use the search function on this forum, but am hoping to get some current feedback on the Convienient Care Clinic (CCC) field. I am currently recruiting NPs and PAs for RediClinic after many years recruiting RNs in a hospital setting. This is a new experience for me, but one I am excited to be a part of.
However, I sense a mixed views on CCCs and what the practitioner in general feels about them, and what the public perception is. Is credibiity an issue when a retail environment is in the equation? Does the emphasis on "quick" make a difference?
As I am beginning to understand this field, I understand we must emphasize our dedication to quality on an ongoing and deliberate basis. Our company (for instance) has estabished healthcare system partnerships to offer support and credibility to our NPs. Will this field always battle the quality versus quantity issue, or have these views shifted to the minority?
Again, I will do a search as I am sure this is not a new topic, but look forward to any new insights.
