The lab I previously worked for only recycled Alcohol and Xylene since they were used way more than Formalin. I would suggest that if you recycle anything, it would be those two. They did use the CBG recycler for Alcohol and Xylene. It worked very well for both and never had a contamination problem. As long as you follow the procedure for changing from xylene to alcohol you should be fine, if this is the way you want to go in recycling.
