We have recently received information from our fiscal intermediary that when billing hydration/therapeutic infusions that are longer than 8 hours requiring a portable pump, that the HCPCS code of C8957 should be used. Does anyone have any information on this? Specifically, if you have less than 8 hours would you then continue to use the CPT codes until the 8th hour is reached. Any & all other information would be wonderful--thanks
