I'm new to medical billing and coding. I was wondering if any of you are independent contractors? How good of a demand is there for independents that can work from home? Or is it more realistic to work at a clinic or hospital?

Now is she looking for a remote position as a contractor or does this person have to live in Las Vegas?  And then can I pick your brain....you said that your not an independent contractor as of yet....what are you doing to progress towards those steps.  I'm trying to get a footing on where to pull all what I have in to place.  "How to sell my self and another person I have been consulting with online is in the process of going that route as well but she asked about how much should she chrg for per claim paid or per hour".  Your insight is a blessing and I thank you in advance for what you may inform me on.
