    EMG/NCV technician certification

    Hi everyone,
I'm a PT looking to obtain a EMG/NCV  technician certification. Do you know any EMG/NCV technician Continuing Education Course in the greater New York area? The only one I found is this : http://www.expertclinicalbenchmarks.com/Pages/ContinuingEd.html  but it's too expensive. I'd like to get your insights

    Hi Edward:

You can go to craigslist.org.  An ad was recently placed on craigslist to take training to become a EMG/NCV technician in just one month

for (1) month for $2ooo, and you will earn $25 an hour after training.  They said that they will work out a payment plan with you.  I want to take the training also but I don't have the money right now.  You will get a certificate of completion once you finish the course.  The ad is dated

    May 11,2010.

I have taken the course you are referring too. I realize it might seem expensive but it is totally worth the price. I actually had to travel to King fo Prussia PA to take it but now they have it in Staten Island and is taught by PT's.
