    Help.....

I just wonder how many places, besides ours, that are so short staffed and workers doing doubles....weekends....holidays...basically sleeping there...and their sup doesnt even work a bench but comes to work in scrubs??  I'm so fed up I could screeeeeaaaaaam!  We are all holding it together, but honestly it's because of this I dont even want to work anymore.  I'm one of the youngest and I'm so fed up I am already to move on after years of service....just wanna see how everyone else is holding up....thanks!!

You are the only one who can help yourself.  It's a big world out there with lots of better opportunities.  Get a move on.

Use all of this experience that you have gained from this job to pump up your resume to find one that is a little less nerve-racking.

Think of key words that describe what you may do daily and that have become part of your daily hurried routine.  What you may think is menial because it has become lost in the mix, may be key points in an employee another employer may be looking for...

Prioritized, Multi Tasking, any Leadership Role, Conflict Resolution, Customer Service Skills, Instrument and Preventative Maintenance, any Quality Control Documentation and resolution, any Delegation skills,  (Generalist?), Busy Lab, any Registration or Patient (contact), Experience, etc.......

    Re: Help.....

The thing is with that situation, is if they do not have enough techs to hire in the area maybe you guys should band together and give them a temp agencies number, and say we need some relief.   Also leaving and finding a new position is always an option.  If you are willing to move and find a new place to work your opportunities are limitless.
