How do you think successful hair cell regeneration and stem cell research will impact your audiological practice in the years to come? Say 5 to 10 years? Beyond?

Well in theory this would revolutionize our field; however, I'm sure the cost for surgery will be prohibitive for most individuals. Therefore, I am not sure how much it will actually impact our field UNLESS medicare of other insurers pay for it. If there is insurance for this, then I can see it revolutionizing the field similar to how CI's have performed.
