NCC Exam for Women's Health Nurse Practitioners

I am a recent graduate from a Women's Health NP program. Yes, I am in the review mode for the NCC exam... I was shocked to find there were no review courses available for WHNPs. If anyone that has taken this exam would be willing to give any tips or helpful information for review, I sure would appreciate it. I am not in a position financially to purchase one of the CD review courses. I would be willing to pay to borrow one though!

Thanks so much. I am so excited about finding this site.

Hello- My company, Fitzgerald Health Education Associates, Inc., will be offering a live WH NP cert review program in May 2009 in the Boston area.  We also have the course available on audio CD. Please see www.fhea.com for details. Best wishes as you pursue your new career.

    Margaret:

Thanks for your reply. I do have the book and CDs. Is there a specific Women's Health review? The material seems to be the same as the Family NP review. I'm beginning to think there must not be many WHNP programs, thus, no specific reviews. Most jobs I have applied for in Alabama are not even aware of the distinction. Is it fading? I hope not. This is all I have ever wanted to do!
