Hello. My name is Clint and I am about to sit for the abdomen portion of the ARDMS exam.  I was wondering if anyone has recently taken it and what do I need to expect from it.  I have taken the online practice test that they offer and scored a 24, but I have no idea if that is good or bad.  I do have some mock exam programs that I am doing very well on, but if anyone has some advice, I sure would appreciate it.  Thank you!

 hi myself is dr. deepak tolia  a practicing radiolologist in I ndia since last 25 yrs and now i want to settle  in US under immigrant visa. I want to clear ARDMS exam to mantain my family. I will be coming to US in the end  of Feb. Please guide me to start with the application to pass the exam and to get a good job.

To find out if you are eligable to sit for the ARDMS exam and to get information on the application, go to their website http://www.ardms.org. This is the certification required by most hospitals here in the U. S. who are hiring ultrasound technologists or sonographers.  There is also an ultrasound exam offered by the ASRT but to take that exam you have to be a graduate of an accredited program and I don't think that includes any foreign programs except, perhaps, Canadian ones. The ARDMS has education requirements but has some alternate methods of qualification that might work for you.
