    self-feeding equipment

I need help figuring  out what equipment would work for a pt.   The pt. has mod. spillage of food when using a spoon or fork.  He has decreased right peripheral vision.  Once holding spoon the pt. can scoop but when he brings the spoon to his mouth he turns the spoon  slightly spilling it.  Any suggestions?

Swivel spoon.  Look in Sammons Preston.

Besides feeding equipment, I would look at what is happening with his arm/hand: lack of ROM? lack of strength? increased tone? and then work to correct these problems or reduce their influence on the feeding activity.
