    Coding and Billing

I'm currently taking courses at the local community college for coding and billing and will be done with the required curriculum in March of next year and when I originally decided to take courses in this field I was thinking of doing outsource work from home and I'm wondering if there are opportunities for work in this field working out of the home.

I am also taking coding and billing courses from my local community college. I am not sure about the outsource opportunities, but that would be a great topic to look into.

Hi Amy, I'm in your class.  When I wass calling around trying to interview a medical coder for our other assignment, I kept running into the problem that the medical coders were working from home so I had a hard time finding one.  Yes, there is a market for remote coders, that's what I'm here for, too.  Look up some job postings.  I had to do that for another class and I found that, if you're looking, the jobs are there.
