    job prospects

    Hi,

I am a coding student in Omaha Nebraska with a projected graduation date of December 10.   I am doing some research in a class and was wondering if it is relatively easy to land a job after graduation and becoming certified.  Any input would be great.  Also, how popular is work from home becoming in the coding industry.

Start applying now for positions and you will get a better chance then waiting when you graduate.  Also you can start studying for the CPC or CCA exam and paying for the exam so that when you finish you can be ready to test.  I believe all companies give you a grace period when you should be certified.  Like two years? (I think)  Your hospitals are doing the work form home but you will have to be in house for 6 months so that you know there system and productivity is to there standards.  It's available here, I'm not sure on the physician side.  But its always possible to incorperate a system to them.
