Leave us your questions for Nancy J. Beckley, MS, MBA, CHC here and we will pass them on to her prior to the webinar on Thursday, March 24, 2011 3:00 PM-4:00 PM EST.
(We can't guarantee all questions will be answered.)
In an out patient PT (teaching university/hospital) setting We have been asked to time stamp our services to the minute for each modality we use, as well as total time and start/end times on each note; we also bill by units too (seperately).
such as 13 min ther ex and 18 min for manual therapy; total time 31 min. Is this needed on all notes for Medicare patients; or is it just good enough to stamp start time-end time (eg 1:00 to 1:31) and then in our billing we will charge one unit Ther ex and one unit manual...
Marvin,
Thanks for your question. We've forwarded it to Nancy. We hope you enjoy tomorrow's webinar.
