This complication is characterized as a closed head injury.
All my years of training in aphasia and stroke and visual/auditory processing evoked symptoms in both of these areas for me as an adult- with noted apraxia and memory deficits.. Vestibular complications prevailed for several months as well as did a reading disability.
Convergence insufficiency, an ocular-motor teaming problem occurred and was diagnosed and must be recognized as apossible dagnosis for lour children and adults....
I am reaching out to all SLP's throughout the globe to search, consider, and assess visual disturbance issues as a known etiology and prevailing possible disorder to considered as part of non-verbal-learning disabilities.
Please respond....this is a serious dis-order and effects children with symptoms reflecting ADHD andLD.
