I am in my second semester for health info management and I am finding that it is much more difficult than I thought going into it. However, since I have prior education it should only take me a couple more semesters to complete. I am worried though, because I heard from a prior student she cannot find a job anywhere without having some sort of previous healthcare experience. It is taking quite a bit of effort for me to complete these classes as a mom while working and I don't want to be disappointed in the end. So, is it really that rare to find a job that doesn't require previous experience?
