I was wondering if anyone could give me their opinions on the CASL?  I have been using the CELF and TOLD and am looking to add another assessment to evaluate oral language in school-aged children. Thank you!

    Re: CASL

Hi, I was one of the field examiners for the CASL, so I am a little biased but I love the standard scores for each test, the fact that each test has it's own standard score and can "stand" alone.  It also has some metalinguistic assessments for older students.

I think it's due to come out with a new edition this fall.

    Sorry click confusion.

Yes, I was one of the field testers for the CASL. I am biased in that I feel it can give a lot of information and each test can stand alone with it's standard score.

At first it looks over whelming but it's worth learning.

If you haven't yet ordered, the new edition is due out this fall 2016.
