Fifteen years ago switched careers. Have a BA in Business, went back to school and picked up my Science classes and was accepted into a one year Clinical Rotation. Passed my boards and was certified as a MT by ASCP. Just recently laid off and have been denied a couple of positions because I do not have a BS. The college that I attended has dropped their Med Tech program.

Anyone have any suggestions as to any programs that I could enroll in to pick up the few classes that I needed to have a BS? Or have any experience with this?

Which 12 month program you attend?  I have an A.A.S and a BA and I am a HTL( Histotechnologist). I am currently employed. However, I would like expand my skills and work on the clincal side also. As for you question. I think your only route will be for you to find a flexible online biology or health science program online or go back to school during the day and seek 2nd or 3rd shift employment. Please respond!
