    I love private duty as well but the family could make or break everthing. i do peds and if the family is nice then i know this is the case for me but some families are bitter and difficult so private duty is great but let me be honest that it can only be great if the family is pleasant usually the Pt. is not a problem.

    I don't know what state you live in but there are jobs look in the advance for nursing magazines they always have jobs. why don't you do home care some agencies that are in need will hire and train you i do peds i only take cases where i don't have to lift when they call you for a case ask about the pt. needs before taking the case.     This is news to me i live in Va LPNs are dominating the home care filed i don't do visits but my agency does hire nurses to do home visits i work with children with trach, vents, Gt just to name a few if the family is a good match it is less stressful. You should call your board of nursing to find out all the best &nbsp;
