    You don't have to be a grad of Ivy Tech. I know, because I am doing the program.They accept credits fom previous courses from other schools. Also you can test out of a lot of them

    Even so,these personnel are not nurses. I had a lady in my class that was a MA while attending school. She would identify herself as a nurse to clients, as well as over the phone. SHe knew that this is illegal, but stated she does so because the doctors referred to her as one.

    True lpns are lpns and rns are rns, but there has been many a time where I have seen and known lpns doing the same&nbsp;things as rns but less pay. As a matter of fact, I have seen lpns TRAIN rns, only for the rn to turn around and be over them. Go figure !! That is why a lot of them get sick of it and go back to school.
