A new study shows that parents don't support requiring girls to get vaccinated against human papillomavirus (HPV) by ninth grade. The CDC recommends the HPV vaccine for girls aged 11-12. As a nurse, what is your view on state efforts to mandate HPV vaccination for girls?

Unless your state board mandates it, refresher courses are usually encouraged by facilities.

What is your view of your state board of nursing? Does the board do a good job of representing LPNs in your state?

OK, it's a New Year, time for a fresh start. Anyone have any good New Year's resolutions? Mine is kinda routine ... I'm going to drop 10 pounds by April. Anyone have any good advice to help reach this goal? Let's all share our resolutions and help each other out!
