    Is anyone using the green top Greiner lithium heparin (with gel) tubes for chemistry?&nbsp; Are you experiencing a problem with the gel not settling properly during centrifugation ?&nbsp; Gel seems to float in the plasma and causes huge issues with the chemistry analyzers.&nbsp;

    They can range from 5.8 to over 6.&nbsp; The specimens are not refrigerated, not re-spun.&nbsp; Patients do not have I.V.'s as we are an outpatient facility and therefore no transfusions either.&nbsp; I've thought about draw order to the point we actually purposely drew 30 in the wrong order and all the K+'s were fine.&nbsp; Thanks for the ...
