I dont know about a choice so much, we are told if you dont get all of your minutes then to tell the super and she/he will go back and get the rest later that day or the SLPs will increase their times.  It is unbelievable, one way or another they will get it so they can be on top.  crazy system!

THen I think you need to find a new COTA to work with, because you apparantley have not had many good ones.  I could also say the same for many OTRs....  education is very important, but experience is just as important if not more.

I am with you!  I would sign a petition or do what it takes to be heard and have the title changed.  This has been spoken about in great length on the forum and the blog for such a long time.  It is discussed throughout the working world as well, something needs to be done.

I am ALL for changing the name!  We earned the respect and dignity as the OTRs have earned theirs.  I do like the COTP/L sounds better and people will stop saying "COTA" as if it is a word on its own.
