    Hi there. I am originally from NY city&nbsp;and worked in peds and geriatrics.&nbsp; When I left 6 years ago you should earn upwards of 80K (and that can be low depending on the arena of practice - hospitals always pay less).

    The true use of occupation in particular settings has definitely gone away.&nbsp; I can relate to how you feel regarding the need to be inspired.
