it is a good program as long as you do not live in virginia. va will not honor it after dec 2009

I TOTALLY AGREE WITH YOU. I HAVE BEEN A NURSE FOR 13 YEARS AND I CAN WORK CIRCLES AROUND A LOT OF THE RN'S OF TODAY FAR AS PT CARE. THEY ARE NOT TAUGHT PT CARE LIKE WE WERE. IN THE STATE OF VA. THERE ARE LOTS OF PUBLIC SCHOOLS THAT HAVE LPN's. THEY ARE LABELED AS '' THE SCHOOL NURSE'' NOT A SPECIAL NEEDS NURSE.

I WORK IN A NSG HOME IN EMPORIA AND THE LPN'S MAKE 15.00 PER HR. THE HOSPITAL PAYS MORE THAN THAT. I DO NOT WORK FOR AN AGENCY. THIS AMT IS FOR DAY SHIFT. THE OTHER SHIFTS GET MORE THAN THAT AMT.
