I have always asked the pt to fast after midnight. I give the capsule at 8AM and ask them to wait an additional hour before they eat. This aids in the digestion of the capsules.

I have thought about going for my BS, but it would not help in the job I have now. If in the future I wanted to go into management or teaching, it would be very necesary. That as a personal goal is wonderful!!!! Good luck!!!

When I was student for Nuclear Med, the male student worn dress pants and ties. The female students had to wear uniforms. When the male student went into the room with the patient they thought he was a Dr. and that I was a nurse.
Times have changed. I see many more female Nuc Med techs these days.

I am concerned with X-ray Technogists injecting Sestamibi (miraluma) for the the purpose of breast imaging. They are using a Breast Specific Gamma camera.
