About Bj Smith
My name is Walter "B.J." Smith, and I am a Certified Respiratory Therapist. I graduated in May 2008 and immediately began working at a tiny community hospital, as well as writing for ADVANCE. I am a self-professed "trauma junkie" and love emergent and code situations.
My main strengths lie in mechanical ventilation and critical care, and in basic patient interactions. There's not a greater feeling in the world than saving a life, and making a patient's day a little easier and brighter.
